Hello everyone! My name is Michelle and I’m the hands and brain behind Bunnies & Yarn.
Bunnies & Yarn is where I share my passion for crochet and amigurumi. My goal is to provide premium quality crochet and amigurumi patterns.
I started crocheting six years ago. I’ve always been a crafty person, with a craft room full of glitter, markers, crayons, watercolors and DIY projects. One day, I was walking near my grandma’s house and I saw a yarn store. I was like “let’s see what I find there”. So I ended up buying some yarn and a crochet hook and went home to search for Youtube videos on “How to crochet” and I felt in love with crochet and amigurumi. At that time I was engaged to my now husband, and crochet really helped me with all the anxiety related to wedding planning.
Three years later I created Bunnies & Yarn and decided to open an Etsy store to share my amigurumi patterns. I absolutely LOVE my job and I hope to continue crocheting for the rest of my life.
We live in Guadalajara, Mexico and love to travel! My favorite places are Mürren and Luzern in Switzerland, Stockholm, Paris and Prague. When I’m not crocheting you can find me baking, watching movies with my husband Luis, playing with my dog “Nutella”, or reading a good book.
